How do I change the language of a Japanese Nintendo DS LL to English?
I just bought a Nintendo DS LL in Japan, but the menu and settings seem to be exclusively in the Japanese language (or at least I could not find where to change the language). Is there a way I can change it to English? Thanks.

Fire: he Water: mizu Earth: tsuchi Wind: kaze Ice: kori Thunder/Lightning: kaminari Light: akarui Dark:kurai I'll point out that on a few of these I wrote them in a way that would make the most natural reading for and English native speaker to be closest to the correct Japanese pronunciation. Also, for light the word akarui really means brightness. Hikrai means actual like, like a beam of light. Kurai means darkness. The-Magic-Of-Making-Up-Review

I am taking a leave of absence to live in Tokyo and learn Japanese from scratch, and giving myself one year to do so. There is a baffling array of Japanese language programs. I want to know which ones have the best reputation for teaching students the language quickly.
